The blast furnace feeding system includes coke belt, ore belt, material surface measuring device, and dust removal device. Each belt is equipped with unloading trolley, and the dust removal facilities include air extraction hood, air duct, adjusting gate, sealing belt and so on.
The main equipment under the trough includes feeder, vibrating screen, weighing hopper, main belt for feeding ore and coke, belt for ore and coke return, fan gate, metal detector, iron remover, dust removal equipment and so on. The feeder supplies the coke and ore from the coke trough to the vibrating screen, and the feeding speed can be controlled by a plug valve. The vibrating screen will screen the coke and ore supplied by the feeder, and the unqualified products will fall into the ore return and coke return belt through the flow chute. The feeder and vibrating screen work by computer control. The metal detector is used to find large metal parts in the ore and coke in the main belt to avoid damaging the belt and furnace top equipment. The iron removers are used to take metal parts away the ore and coke.
The belt devices include main belt, transmission device, roller replacement trolley. The main belt continuously transports coke and ore to the receiving tank at the top of the furnace, and a detection device is usually installed on the main belt to detect the speed. The roller replacement trolley, generally set at the top of the belt.
For bell-type furnace, its top devices mainly have large/small bells and large/ small hoppers. and large and small material bell winch and fabricator. The up and down movement of large/small bell is driven by donkey engine.
No bell roof equipment include feeding tank, discharging tank, upper sealing valve, lower sealing valve, eye valve, control valve, airtight box and gear box and chute.
The main role of top release devices is to balance the pressure between tanks and the furnace to ensure materials to go into the furnace smoothly, including pressure valve, release valve, cyclone dust collector, silencer. The cyclone dust collector removes the dust from the released gas. The main function of the silencer is to muffle the equalizing and discharging gas and control the noise pollution. The probe scale equipment mainly detects the material surface in the furnace, which mainly includes the probe scale winch, main command controller, rope chain, and counter weight.
In addition, the roof area is equipped with manual or electric hoists, single girder cranes for easy to maintenance.
