Total world crude steel production was 1,888.2 Mt in 2023.
Crude steel production in India and South Africa increased by more than 10% compared with 2022, while crude steel production in Mexico, France, Poland, Belgium, Pakistan, Netherlands, Czech Republic decreased by more than 10%.
