Heavy shock load

If the shock load of the fixed-size machine is too large, it may choose a frequency conversion motor for greatly reducing the impact load, adjusting the speed of the rollers through the frequency converter, and can control speed and stopping with a grating detection installed on both sides of the rollers. In the case that the frequency conversion motor cannot be available, a new type of elastic damping with better force-energy parameters and a wide temperature resistance range can be considered in order to absorb the large impact loads.

Long shaft deflection

The long shaft length of the 12 m fixed-size machine is around 7.5 m, while the long shaft length of the 16 m fixed-size machine is 11.6 m. The long shaft will deflect and deform, making it difficult for the trolley to travel and affecting the accuracy of the size of bars. It is recommended that the long shaft be replaced by a hollow shaft with a larger diameter to increase the bending stiffness.

Baffle translocation

Reducing the displacement of the baffle can be solved by increasing the friction of the locking device. The hydraulic locking cylinder can increase the system pressure; for the spring locking device, it can adopt a combined butterfly spring; the steel-to-steel contact will be changed to rubber pad and steel to increase the friction coefficient.

Buffer device damage

(1) Spring buffers are recommended to use worm coil springs, in the same installation space, compared to other springs, the worm coil springs can absorb a larger amount of energy, and the friction between its plates can be used to attenuate vibration.

(2) The hydraulic buffer can be changed to a damped hydraulic buffer. When the pressure in the high pressure cavity of the buffer rises due to the impact from discharging material, the high pressure oil flows to the low pressure cavity through the damping hole, and the speed of the piston is limited due to the total volume of hydraulic oil remaining unchanged, the restriction of the damping hole, and the diameter of the piston being much larger than the diameter of the damping hole, thus achieves the purpose of buffering.

(3) To use new type of high energy elastic damping buffer, the force-energy curve is better than the ordinary elastic damping buffer, with excellent immediate response ability and kinetic potential energy conversion ability, compact structure and simple installation, wide temperature resistance range and long service life.
