The rolling line of each stand should align in the same straight line so that is the production can normally work. If there is light offset of stand rolling line, the guide could be damage caused by uneven wear of the hole pattern; serious offset can directly cause the accident of steel stacking.
The meaning of the alignment of the rolling line includes both the import and export guides of the same stand and the alignment of the hole pattern in the rolling, including the consistency of the entire unit in the rolling line.
In the process of stand installation, the positioning of each stand rolling line is usually to choose two coordinate points at both ends of the entire rolling line, by hanging the wire to determine the coordinates of each mill. The centerline of the wire is coincide with the centerline of the rolling line, then to fix the stand. After changing the roll or groove, there are three ways to align the rolling line.
Generally in the base of the mill or the location of the housing to set the center coordinates mark of the rolling line. In the frame traverse or installation process, the center line of the guide and the mark should be coincide.
Set up a light source at the entrance of the mill guide in the previous stand, in the exit of next stand guide observe the state and to determine the middle stand rolling centerline.
